Jeff brings over 15 years of finance, corporate restructuring, and M&A transaction leadership to PhiCap Advisors.
Prior to PhiCap, Jeff served as the Principal Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer for the Atlas companies, publicly traded energy enterprises including Atlas Energy Group and Atlas Resource Partners as well as several of its subsidiaries.
Before becoming Chief Financial Officer, Jeff served as Chief Accounting Officer and other senior accounting leadership positions since joining the team in 2007. At Atlas, Jeff led the companies through all phases of the companies’ life cycles, from significant A&D driven growth, to entity-wide monetization mergers, culminating with in-court and out-of-court balance sheet restructurings and liquidations.
Jeff was also Senior Auditor with Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Jeff graduated from Muhlenberg College with a degree in Accounting. Jeff is a certified public accountant and is a member of the PICPA and Turn-Around Management Association of Philadelphia.
Brian brings over 25 years of finance, capital markets and institutional investor communications experience to PhiCap Advisors.
Prior to PhiCap, Brian served as the VP of Investor Relations for the Atlas companies, publicly-traded energy enterprises including Atlas Energy Group and Atlas Resource Partners, as well as several of its subsidiaries since 2006. At the Atlas companies, Brian assisted in the investor marketing and consummation of three initial public offerings, approximately $20 billion in acquisitions and divestitures, including the sale of Atlas’ parent company twice in that time frame, and equity and debt offerings of over $6 billion.
From 1999 to 2006, Brian worked for Cigna Healthcare in the company’s Financial Leadership Program in several finance and accounting positions.
Brian was also a senior auditor for the manufacturing, distribution and technology sectors at Andersen from 1995 to 1999.
He graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Accounting. Brian is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Philadelphia.

Michael brings over 20 years of operations, M & A and financial experience to PhiCap Advisors.
Prior to PhiCap, Michael served as the Chief Operating Officer for Falcon Minerals, a publicly traded minerals company. During his time at Falcon, Michael guided the operations team and oversaw operations results and forecasting. Michael was involved with over $30 million of organic acquisitions and a reverse merger that resulted in a $2.5 billion market cap company.
Prior to joining Falcon, Michael served as the VP Operations for the Atlas Companies, publicly traded energy enterprises including Atlas Energy Group and Atlas Resource Partners, as well as several of its subsidiaries since 2009. During his time at Atlas, Michael was responsible for overseeing operations for multiple offices which involved the deployment of over $500 million of development capital to drill and produce oil and gas wells across the lower 48 states. Michael also managed the relationship associated with a $1.7 billion joint venture with a large international company. Additionally, Michael was involved with over $20 billion of acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to PhiCap, Bryan served as the Director of Accounting for several publicly traded companies including Atlas Energy Group LLC and Titan Energy LLC, as well as several of their subsidiaries.
While at Atlas, Bryan gained strong experience in all accounting department functions including oversight of day-to-day financial operations & management, accounting procedures, and system implementations. In addition, Bryan gained transactional experience through the formation of several limited partnerships, various asset disposals, and assisting with required legal & regulatory filings.
Bryan is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Bryan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Accounting.
